Please read these Terms before using Rift AI. By using the app or website, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Agreement
These Terms are between you and Purpura Salgada, the publisher of Rift AI. Rift AI includes the iOS app, getrift.xyz, related support, backend services, and any features we make available through the app.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Rift AI. You must be old enough to use Rift AI under the laws that apply to you.
The service
Rift AI is an iPhone app for creating AI video edits from camera-roll videos, reference images, trends, templates, prompts, and generation settings. Features, models, availability, output quality, processing times, and supported workflows may change over time.
getrift.xyz is a static marketing, support, and legal website. Media processing and purchases happen through the app and backend services.
Your media and permission to process it
You keep your rights in the videos, photos, prompts, reference images, captions, and other content you submit to Rift AI. To operate the service, you grant Rift AI a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, upload, transmit, process, transform, display, store, and deliver your content and generated outputs.
This license is limited to operating Rift AI, generating outputs, saving and displaying your app history, providing support, preventing abuse, complying with law, and improving reliability and safety. We do not claim ownership of your private uploads.
Your responsibility for content
You are responsible for the content you upload and the outputs you create or share. You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and consent needed for any people, likenesses, brands, locations, music, footage, photos, or other material in your submissions.
You are also responsible for checking whether an output is suitable and lawful for your intended use before posting, selling, licensing, or relying on it.
AI outputs
AI-generated video can be surprising, inaccurate, low quality, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Rift AI does not guarantee that outputs will be unique, error-free, platform-approved, commercially usable, or free from third-party claims.
Do not present generated content in a way that deceives people about real events, endorsements, identity, evidence, or consent.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload or generate content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not create non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, threats, hate, abuse, or illegal content.
- Do not impersonate people, forge endorsements, mislead viewers about real events, or violate privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.
- Do not use Rift AI to create malware, evade moderation, abuse platform rules, or facilitate fraud.
- Do not bypass paywalls, manipulate purchase systems, overload infrastructure, scrape private data, or try to access another user's account or media.
Purchases, subscriptions, and in-app usage
Rift AI uses Apple in-app purchases. Product details, subscription terms, renewal prompts, cancellation controls, tax handling, and purchase confirmation are presented through Apple's App Store flow. RevenueCat and Superwall may help Rift AI manage paywalls, entitlements, restores, and purchase state.
Rift AI may use in-app balances, top-ups, subscriptions, or usage units to control access to generation. Available products, plan benefits, refill behavior, rollover behavior, and feature access may change and are shown in the app where relevant.
Refunds and cancellations
Apple controls App Store billing, subscription management, and refund decisions. Use your Apple ID subscription settings for cancellation and Apple's refund tools for refund requests. Rift AI support can help investigate restore or entitlement issues, but cannot override Apple's billing decisions.
Content retention and deletion
Rift AI may store uploads, generation records, generated videos, and related metadata so the app can show your history, deliver outputs, provide support, and protect the service. Generated outputs may remain stored unless removed through account deletion, support deletion, abuse review, legal requirements, or operational cleanup.
You can use Delete Account and Data in the app to request account deletion. Some records may remain in backups, logs, fraud-prevention systems, provider systems, or financial records where retention is required or reasonably necessary.
Intellectual property
Rift AI, getrift.xyz, the Rift AI name, app design, templates, software, backend systems, and service materials are owned by Purpura Salgada or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Rift AI's software, brand, templates, or service infrastructure.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, templates, providers, models, purchase terms, availability, or access to Rift AI. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or safety risk, abused the service, or used Rift AI in a way that could harm other users or infrastructure.
Third-party services
Rift AI depends on third-party services such as Apple, Cloudflare, RevenueCat, Superwall, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel, and AI video generation infrastructure. Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies. Rift AI is not responsible for third-party outages, billing decisions, platform rules, or moderation decisions.
Disclaimers
Rift AI is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, reliability, availability, and error-free results.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rift AI and Purpura Salgada will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost content, loss of goodwill, platform takedowns, or business interruption arising from or related to Rift AI.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer protection law gives you mandatory rights that cannot be waived. If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Rift AI changes. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the app, website, or another appropriate channel. Continuing to use Rift AI after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
